Filtration anthracite:    AQUACIT^®
according to EN 12909

AQUACIT is a natural filter medium used for the upper layer of multilayer water filtration systems intended for human consumption. Raw material of AQUACIT is best anthracite, crushed and screened into the following grades:

Standard grades of grain-size:

Properties:

• removing of iron and manganese
• removing of suspended solids and turbidness
• enhancement of the filter running time
• high backwash velocity without washout loss
• good flushout of dirt particles even with higher specific density
• no release of silicic acid or heavy metals into the water
• fully functional between pH 3 and pH 12
• absolutely harmless to health, suitable for drinking water

Delivery is made:

• in bulk
• in 20 x 36,5 kg PE-sacks, packed on euro-pallets
• in big bags of 1 - 1.65 m³, on euro-pallets
