KONTRASlL® is a synthetic mineral abrasive of melted coal slag according to ISO 11126, without silicosis risk.


Standard grades:

0.09 - 0.25 mm 0.5 - 1.4 mm
0.25 - 1.4   mm 1.4 - 2.8 mm

Properties:

  • no free silica
  • no watersoluble constituents
  • hardness  7 (Mohs scale)
  • specific weight:      2.5 - 2.6 g/cm³
  • Average bulk weight:      1.3 g/cm³

SiO2 : 48 - 51 %
Fe2O3 : 8 - 12 %
Al2O3 : 28 - 34 %
K2O : 3 - 5 %
CaO : 2 - 5 %
