Floor coverings
For the production of special floor coverings EUROQUARZ offers coloured silica sand and quartz gravel trademarked COLORQUARZ®. For the production of especial solid or compact industrial floors EUROQUARZ offers a special quartz mixture trademarked SILIMIX®.
Refractory industry
Main application purposes of the fireproof quartz from EUROQUARZ are furnace linings as well as form-giving tools of the iron and steel industry, the glass, aluminium, cement and ceramic industry.
Foundry
EUROQUARZ foundry sand is used in the automotive industry and from their automotive suppliers, in mechanical engineering and even for the artistic foundry. Foundry sand is the raw material for the production of forms and cores with different binders.
Steel industry
The quartz gravel from EUROQUARZ is indispensable for the building of slag during the utilisation of scrap iron in the blast furnaces industry.
Blasting grit
EUROQUARZ offers a synthetic mineral blasting grit made of melted coal slag trademarked KONTRASIL® in accordance to ISO 11126-4. The trademark AFESIKOS® is a mineral iron-free blast grain on the basis of aluminium silicate glass melt in accordance to ISO 11126.
Filling of tanks
Underground tanks are often left in the ground when they are out of use because of the high disposal costs. To prevent surface subsidence damage of the ground, the tanks will be filled with quartz gravel.
Traffic economy
For the traffic economy EUROQUARZ offers quartz as brake sand for rail bounded vehicles and as winter strewing sand for the improvement of the static friction.
