AQUAGRAN® is natural silica sand and quartz gravel:
- with rounded off edges
- free from organic impurities
- with a high quality because of the modern production
AQUAGRAN® is essentially for drinking water treatment in Germany and many other countries. Filters are able to remove all solid impurities when they are standard equipped with AQUAGRAN®. AQUAGRAN® filter gravel is extremely hard so that its possible to do a regular backward flushing for a lot of years. The filter gravel has got a long durability.

For the treatment of drinking water AQUAGRAN® is often combined with AQUAZIT®.
