Quartz gravel from EUROQUARZ is used during the raw iron production as builder of slag in the blast furnace process. Quartz gravel of EUROQUARZ is also used as protective coating in the steel gutters and in the blast furnace process.

- low content of alkali
- Mohs hardness 7
