Asilikos ^NEW

The new Asilikos is a mineral, environmentally friendly blasting abrasive, produced from a mixture of synthetic aluminum silicate made from smelting chamber granulate and natural aluminum silicate derived from volcanic lava. The standard grain sizes of the new Asilikos are manufactured in accordance with ISO 11126-4 and 11126-11, and all grain sizes comply with the requirements of DGUV 100-500, Chapter 2.24, “Working with blasting equipment (blasting operations).

KONTRASIL^NEW

KONTRASIL NEW is a non-metallic expendable blasting abrasive for the treatment of a wide variety of surfaces, such as
ferrous and non-ferrous materials, concrete and comparable substrates. It is manufactured from cupola furnace slag,
which solidifies into glassy-amorphous converter slag through slow cooling in air and is subsequently processed into
blasting abrasive.
KONTRASIL NEW is particularly suitable for applications in corrosion protection and in the coatings industry. The
blasting abrasive meets the essential requirements of DIN EN ISO 11126-4 and DIN EN ISO 11127 and, as a nonsilicogenic
blasting abrasive, complies with the criteria of BG Rule 500, Chapter 2.24. Quality is regularly monitored by
a certified laboratory.

Locations & availability

KONTRASIL NEW is generally kept in stock at the Laußnitz plant.
ASILIKOS NEW is generally kept in stock at the Dorsten site.
Both types of blasting abrasive can be delivered throughout Germany and beyond.
